Tiny Fables is a sandbox-style adventure for the tabletop RPG Mausritter set in an old-growth forest warped by fae magic. Echoing the themes of classic folklore and fairy-tales, this module confronts players with the narrow distinction between warmth and darkness, cruelty and whimsy, and danger versus reward.

Those who answer the call to adventure will need to overcome impossible odds by relying on their cleverness, courage, and most trusted allies. Will they become the heroes of their own fables? Or will they prove themselves fools in a cautionary tale? The difference between the two fates is razor thin. Regardless of the outcome, it's sure to make for a great story.

Inside:

  • 56 pages, densely packed and illustrated to spark the imagination.
  • 5 adventure sites, each with a map, treasures, encounters, and adventure hooks.
  • An Overworld Hex-Map full of minor locations and random encounters to shake up the adventure.
  • Thimblewood Village, a mouse settlement full of NPCs with items to sell and problems in need of solving.
  • 40+ creatures to encounter, befriend, fight, and escape.
  • 70+ Items, Spells, Treasures and Conditions to buy, steal, and discover.

Very cool art style here!

Hi, I just received the printed KS version of Tiny fables by snail mail last week and just wanted to say this is now my new gold standard for indy rpg products. Much to learn from it from a production and layout view. Thank you very much for this gem!

Thanks so much for the kind words! Glad you enjoyed it

Hi, just checking you're okay with me purchasing this and paying to print a spiral bound print of it. It's a bloody delight but I'm in the UK and the print run is only going in the US. Please ping me if that changes.

Absolutely! Feel free to print it in any way that works for you. We will have some copies available to Europe in the next few months via Games Omnivorous but the timeline on that is currently unknown

Is it possible to buy a printed version? I really love the artwork, I would like to have a physical little book in my hands :-). Thanks!

Physical copies are now available to folks in the US here! For folks in Europe, there will be a few copies available through Games Omnivorous in a few weeks. I'm hoping to find some retailers to sell it to folks elsewhere in the world soon. Thanks!

Can we get a heads up when they become available in EU. I'd also love a copy <3

Sure thing!

Excellent, thank you very much for your fast answer! I live in Italy, so I'll be on the lookout for the GO option: will you be posting somewhere about it, when the sell starts? Thanks!

I'll post about it on Twitter and Bluesky when it's available in Europe! Those handles are @JosiahSMoore and @josiahmoore.bsky.social respectively

Nice! Thanks and good luck, your work looks amazing :-).

Also getting in line for a physical EU copy (Germany). I imagine the RISO print to turn it into something extra special! Was very close to buying from that one Canadian store that ships to Germany but shipping is 17€ 🙈

Will the big edition including  maps, companion bookmark and all become available as well or only the standard version? Sorry just very excited about this 😅

Thanks for the support! I'd love to get some copies available in Germany soon! I'll keep talking to distributors and hopefully figure something out.

I might be able to get more deluxe editions out there too. As of now I would have to print more guidebooks, maps, and the other extras in order to make that happen so it will probably take more time.

I backed on KS, and have to say I am over the moon for this product. Lots of fun intricate details. Everything makes sense. A lot of sandbox adventures are a series of unrelated places. There are stories interwoven throughout. I highly recommend it.

Thanks so much for the kind words! One of my biggest goals in writing this was making everything feel connected in an organic way. I'm so glad you enjoyed it.
